The Thabo Tholo Reserve has over 6,000 hectares of pristine wilderness to explore. The reserve may not be home to all of the Big Five, however buffalo roam this undulating landscape, leopards prowl the elevated plains, and a vast array of antelope and bird species can also be seen throughout the reserve.
Black Leopard Mountain Lodge is located just a 3 hour drive from OR Tambo International airport and the reserve entrance is situated just off the R37 Burgersfort & Polokwane road, outside Lydenburg/Mashishing, Mpumulanga. The reserve is also close to many sites and attractions in the nearby area from the iconic Panorama route to the ancient Sudwala Caves.
